3D Printing (Students entering 4th-9th)
Do you have a great idea for a gadget or gizmo? Maybe you just want to design a model of your favorite superhero! In this class kids will learn how to find models to print and the basics of Tinkercad, an easy to use Computer Aided Drafting program. Kids will design and print using a 3D printer as well as finish the models by sanding and painting.

Explore the world of animals! Kids will learn about adaptations, classification, biodiversity, how animals interact with each other and within their environment, human impact on the environment (conservation), and extinction. We will use microscopes and live animals so we can get up close! Equipment from the Sam Noble Museum and the OKC Zoo will also be used in this camp.

Auto Service (Students entering 4th-9th)
In this course, kids gain an understanding of how a car engine works. In CV Tech's state-of-the-art automotive facilities, students learn the safe and proper use of equipment and tools, maintenance techniques, including tire repair, brake maintenance and how to check and change automotive fluids. By the end of the program students will walk away with a functional model of an engine which they build themselves.

Babysitting 101 (Students entering 4th-9th)
Go above and beyond just watching children, and take your babysitting to the next level! Kids in this camp will learn babysitting essentails, engage in fun and interactive activities, as well as proper care for children of all ages. There's been a crime and we need CSI Investigators! Kids will observe the scene of a fictitious crime and work to solve the crime by securing the scene, making hypotheses, collecting and evaluating evidence, testing hypotheses and make inferences to solve the case. Kids will engage in data collection and problem-solving using a variety of strengths and leadership skills as well as, learn academic and technical vocabulary. Budding entrepreneurs get the chance to bring their dreams to fruition in this camp! The kids try to convince the sharks to invest money in their very own lemonade company, of which they will spend the week designing components, such as a company logo, business plan, customized lemonade flavor, and more. When more than one of the sharks decide they want a piece of the action, a bidding war can erupt, driving up the price of the investment. So Sharks, do we have a deal?

Advanced Robotics (Students entering 4th-9th)
Use the engineering design process to create a robotic challenge using a Lego Mindset EV3 Rover robot. After assembling the rover robot, kids will use provided materials to create a competitive challenge for the Rover Robot. This will include creating a theme, designing and drawing a challenge mat and building 3-D challenge pieces for a robot to manipulate. Inspiration for these challenges will come from First Lego League themed competitions.
