Nursing Services – CNA

The Health Careers program at CV Tech prepares students through training in core medical knowledge, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, first aid/CPR, communication pertaining to the health sector, and nursing assistant skills. All first year students will complete Anatomy, Physiology, and MedTerm and begin certified nursing assistant (LTCA) training; second year students will complete LTCA training and learn EKG Technician and Phlebotomy. Those who decide not to pursue patient care may transfer to the Accounting and Business Education program to learn Medical Office skills so they may pursue working on the administrative side of a hospital or doctor’s office.
