PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN

About Course

Students will successfully complete 25 venipunctures and 5 dermal punctures prior to completing the course. Upon completion of all course requirements, the student will be eligible to test and become a Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT). This course has an online component, a classroom lab component, and a clinical lab component.

Required: Book.

Prerequisite: At least 18 years old, United States High School graduate or hold equivalent credentials (e.g., GED), Clear National Background Check, Two-Step TB Test.

Note: 100% attendance plus competency required for successful completion of this course. Clinical rotations are daytime hours arranged per instructor. You will be provided a list of clinical requirements on the first day of class.

Hybrid – Coursework is 100% online. Orientation, skills, and testing performed on-site.
