Canadian Valley Technology Center Digital Media Technology graduate Drew Stomprud, a college All-American mascot, is heading to the UCA College Nationals at Walt Disney World to compete with the best mascots from across the country.
Stomprud, 20, is a sophomore at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. He said current CV Tech Graphic Design students have been helping him design props for nationals, which take place in mid-January 2023.
The small private school’s mascot’s official name is “Judah Lion.” Stomprud is a 2021 graduate of Yukon High School. He is the son of Matt and Kari Stomprud, of Piedmont. Kari Stomprud is the Special Needs Coordinator at CV Tech’s El Reno Campus.
