This is a high school only program.
The Teacher Prep program at CVTech is designed to get students a jump start into becoming a teacher or employment in a school setting as a paraprofessional. This one year program is designed to help high school students explore the various teaching careers in the educational field and gain classroom experience through internships at our local schools. Students will have the opportunity to gain certification as a teacher’s aide as well as work toward entry into a college teaching program.

- 480 Hours – complete in one calendar school year
- Includes six-week internship in an area elementary school or middle school
- Structure lessons to maximize teaching
- See the practical side of teaching while preparing for a college education major
- Who is welcome? Future teachers, coaches, music educators and others (must be a Junior or Senior during the 23-24 school year)
