This program is offered at both the El Reno and Chickasha campuses.
The Service Careers – Hospitality Food Service Aide Apprenticeship program is a partnership with local industry to provide relevant education and in-depth work-based learning to become a food service aide in a cafe setting. While in the apprenticeship, the apprentice gets the opportunity to earn while they learn and upon completion they will receive a nationally recognized credential from the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL). Apprentices will learn about customer service, sanitation and cleaning, food and beverage service, communication, teamwork, and organization. There is an emphasis in this program on the development of employability skills, positive attitudes, and work ethic.
