CHICKASHA – Johnathan Gervasi, Business and Medical Administration instructor at Canadian Valley Technology Center, is the recipient of the 2022 Post-Secondary Advisor of the Year award.
The award is presented by Business Professionals of America, which is among a handful of student organizations offering students leadership development and opportunities to compete in skills contests each year.
Gervasi, 24, of Yukon, was selected by the BPA state officer team. He is a member of the Classroom Educators Advisory Council and has previously served as the National Alumni Secretary, as Oklahoma State President and as National Parliamentarian when he was a student. Gervasi also assists with most presentation events at Oklahoma’s annual state leadership conference. Gervasi is being recognized as having made significant contributions to Oklahoma BPA as a local chapter advisor.
