Canadian Valley Technology Center will open Aug. 13 with students at all three area campuses.
Administrators will follow the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and that of both the Oklahoma Department of Education and the state Department of Health. All of these departments encourage in-person education at this time.
Conditions could change, and virtual classes could be instituted if warranted at any of CV Tech’s campuses in Chickasha, El Reno and Yukon. CV Tech mandates facial coverings and social distancing whenever possible while on campus.
Area high schools have staggered start dates, due to COVID-19. Some schools begin the year in a virtual school setting. Students who are enrolled at CV Tech are not required to attend until their high school begins.
