CHICKASHA — O klahoma Bureau of Narcotics spokesman Mark Woodward is the featured speaker as Canadian Valley Technology Center hosts the third in a series of free medical marijuana educational seminars, entitled “Recognizing Impairment,” on Jan. 31.
The seminar will be from 11 a.m. to Noon in the Helen Ward Seminar Center at CV Tech’s Chickasha Campus, 1401 Michigan Ave. Business owners, supervisors, teachers and parents are encouraged to attend.
School officials suspect much is still unclear regarding impairment now that the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Act has become law. Seminar topics will cover difficult issues, such as how to handle an impaired person properly and signs to look for that somebody is attempting to cover up impairment.
