Access to hundreds of job seekers is at stake for area businesses who have until 5 p.m. Friday to register for the Canadian Valley Technology Center Career and Education Fair, to be held May 2 at the school’s El Reno Campus, 6505 E. Hwy. 66.
Registration is free for businesses, and the event is open to the public. Business are provided a six-foot table, two chairs and electricity if required. Additionally, free breakfast, lunch and beverages are provided at no charge. Students from all three of CV Tech’s metro area campuses will be in attendance.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the J.R. Gililland Seminar Center on the west end of the campus. Ample parking is available.
CV Tech Employment Specialist Mindi Mitchell said 44 business have already registered, including those representing health care, manufacturing, social services, higher education and the military. Business may register online through Eventbrite or by contacting Mitchell at (405) 422-2205.
