Elizabeth Montante found the perfect mix of health care and business in the Medical Office program at Canadian Valley Tech. But what really stood out? The soft skills.
“Not only have I learned how to properly communicate in person and online, but I have also improved my work ethic, problem-solving skills and time management,” she said.
With encouragement from instructor Christi Walker, Elizabeth took her skills to the next level—running for a state leadership position in Business Professionals of America (BPA). And Montante, a junior at Mustang High School, nailed it: she’s now the state BPA president for the 2025-26 school year!
Next stop? A degree in Health Informatics, where tech meets health care to improve patient outcomes.
