Dick Lowe

CHICKASHA – Canadian Valley Technology Center Business and Industry Services Coordinator Dick Lowe has received the Postsecondary, Adult and Career Education (PACE) Division Award of Excellence.

The award is presented by the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education, which is the leadership organization for 3,900 members statewide who are employed in career and technology education.

The award recognizes outstanding individuals with five-plus years of service with a $350 stipend for professional development.

Lowe, of Amber, helps companies find training and workforce solutions to improve the culture, safety, skills and knowledge that it takes to succeed in today’s changing economic climate.

Lowe and the CV Tech Business and Industry Services team recently helped a manufacturing and distribution company save $180,000 in annual workers’ compensation premiums. Another manufacturer saved $250,000 in annual scrap costs, tardiness and employee retention.

CV Tech assists more than 100 area organizations and businesses and nearly 5,800 total employees either on campus or on-site at a business. The Award of Excellence is the highest honor bestowed on PACE Division members.
