Lowe Wins National PACE Award

LAS VEGAS -- Canadian Valley Technology Center Industrial Coordinator Dick Lowe has been named 2016 Postsecondary, Adult and Career Education (PACE) Ambassador of the Year.

Lowe, of Amber, accepted the award on Wednesday in Las Vegas, where he attended ACTE's Career Vision 2016. It is the largest annual gathering of career and technical education professionals. Lowe was there as one of five finalists for the Association for Career and Technology Education (ACTE) Administrator of the Year award. 

Lowe has worked at CV Tech's Chickasha Campus for eight years. He came to Canadian Valley from Red River Technology Center in Duncan, where he was the agriculture business management coordinator. He was formerly an ag teacher at Ninnekah.

As a business and industry coordinator, he works with nearly two dozen area companies, providing consultation and customized industry training.

Lowe is married to Judy, and the couple has three grown sons.
