Our welding courses will provide you with classroom instruction and hands-on training in various welding techniques. Instruction is self-paced and individualized based on student goals. Major topics include welding theory, safety, blueprint reading and basic through advanced welding skills.
This course is designed to cover basic welding skills with a personalized learning plan for each student based on desired certification(s) and goals for the course. Students have the opportunity to gain experience and learn procedures in stick, MIG and TIG welding on plate and pipe.
NOTE: Certification fee is not included in the cost of the course and must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance through the instructor and ACE coordinator. A certified DOL-approved Certified Welding Inspector will provide the paperwork required to get the Department of Labor ID card on successfully passing the designated test.
Required: Welding gloves, safety glasses, steel toe boots and long sleeve shirt. Students not arriving to class prepared with proper requirements will be marked absent for the evening and risk being dropped from the course.
