Medical Assistant

Work in a medical office or clinical setting as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Our instructor-led program will prepare you for administering injections, performing EKGs, drawing blood samples for testing, wound care, obtaining vital signs and patient history, and assisting the physician with minor office procedures and/or surgeries. You will work alongside nurses, physicians, and other health professionals in a diverse medical setting performing both clinical and administrative tasks. To add to your training, you will gain the skills necessary to become a phlebotomist. Students successfully completing this program will be eligible to sit for the AMT Registered Medical Assistant exam as well as the NCCT National Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam.

Please note: * Drug screen required before clinical rotation
