ADULT PROGRAM DETAILS
- Develop a broad knowledge of aircraft systems through advanced installation, overhauling and testing procedures
- Inspect, repair and maintain essential aviation components from airframe structures to powerplant systems
- Troubleshoot aircraft operation using FAA‐approved procedures
- Course is 1,980 hours:
August-May: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Summer Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (campus closed on Fridays) - 20 months in length
- Cost is $2/hour, plus books, unless you qualify for the Next Step Scholarship if you:
1) are under age 24
2) have a high school diploma or GED
3) live within the district
