The high school application deadlines have passed for the 24-25 school year, except for El Reno’s UULT program for current Juniors only. UULT applications are only open until March 1st. Interviews are in process and students will be notified of acceptance status by April 9, 2024.
The El Reno and Cowan 2024-2025 application window ended December 15, 2023. 2025-2026 application window will open fall 2024.
The Chickasha 2024-2025 application window ended February 2, 2024. 2025-2026 application window will open fall 2024.

Adult Application Information
Steps for Adults & High School Seniors

Each numbered tab is a step in the application process. Please read and follow the steps carefully.
Next-Generation ACCUPLACER® Testing is required for all adults applying for CV Tech programs, unless you meet one of the test waiver requirements from the list below:
Prior Accuplacer Assessment:
- ACCUPLACER® Next Gen scores: 235 in Reading; 238 in Arithmetic
- ACCUPLACER® Classic: 53 in Reading; 41 in Arithmetic
- ACT: Composite of 19 or higher
- SAT®: Composite of 980 new SAT/1330 old SAT or higher
- ASVAB: 65 or higher
- WorkKeys: 3 in all areas
- Pass at least 12 hours of level 1 college courses or Associate Degree (within last 5 years). Student must be in good standing with the previous school(s).
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree (can be older than 5 years, no time restriction)
Testing Waiver(s): Test scores are valid for 5 years from the test date.

Some programs might have different admission and testing requirements.Â

WHEN CAN I ENROLL (adult or high school senior)
More information about your program’s schedule can be found on your full-time program page, under the Schedule tab. Many adult programs have open entry, meaning you can start at various dates throughout the year. Because of popularity and space limitations, many of our programs are full and do have a waitlist. You may submit your testing/waiver and application at anytime throughout the year, but may have to wait to start the program.
The program’s Career Counselor can help you learn more. Â
REQUIRED PLACEMENT TESTING
- All programs–except LPN and Surg Tech–require either the ACCUPLACER® or a waiver from the Placement Testing & Waivers List.
- LPN and Surg Tech applicants MUST take the ACCUPLACER® to apply.
- Free ACCUPLACER® resources are available on our Assessment Center page.
- To schedule the ACCUPLACER®, review our Assessment Center page.Â
- Test scores are valid for 5 years from the test date, unless noted.Â
- Minimum scores–including program specific scores–are required and listed under the Accuplacer® Minimum Scores tab.Â
SUBMITTING YOUR TEST/WAIVER
- You can work directly through our Assessment Center if testing here.
- Waivers can be submitted online.
- Do not submit screenshots- you must submit an official record.
- Please contact the Assessment Center or Career Counselor with questions.

TESTING AT OUR ASSESSMENT CENTER
- If you do not have a qualifying waiver, schedule the Accuplacer Assessment. Please visit the Assessment Center page for more information. Upon completion of the assessment, you’ll meet with the appropriate program counselor. Depending on your scores, you will be offered remediation, enrolled, or placed on a waitlist.

ENROLLING WITH A WAIVER
- All qualifying documents must be submitted to the appropriate program counselor . You will later be contacted by a Career Counselor to discuss either your enrollment or placement on a waitlist.
- DO NOT submit screenshots of test results– you must submit an official record.
- DO NOT submit high school transcripts.
- Please contact the Assessment Center or Career Counselor with questions.
- All qualifying documents must be submitted to the appropriate program counselor . You will later be contacted by a Career Counselor to discuss either your enrollment or placement on a waitlist.
After QUALIFYING testing/waiver has been submitted, you will be in contact with your Career Counselor. If you have specific questions, you can reach out to them directly. Their contact information can be found on the full-time program page under the Contact a Counselor tab.
Note: If you have not submitted a QUALIFYING waiver, your application is NOT being processed. A Counselor will contact you with specific requirements on how to apply.
Ready to get started?
- If qualifying for the waiver, all qualifying documents must be submitted to the appropriate program counselor . You will hear from a Career Counselor and be enrolled or placed on a waitlist.
- If you do not meet any of the above criteria, schedule the Accuplacer Assessment. Please visit the Assessment Center page for more information. Upon completion of the assessment, you’ll meet with the appropriate program counselor. You will be offered remediation, enrolled, or placed on a waitlist.
