Success Stories

  • Canadian Valley-El Reno's Precision Machining program was a springboard for Brandon, who enrolled in the program in the early 2000s intent on continuing his education in college.

  • Cayla, a 2007 Yukon High School graduate, is best described by her former instructor Terry Robinson as one who "consistently produces college-level work."

  • Clint Wood found himself out-of-work in his welding career due to an injury. He re-evaluated his career goals and decided to come to CV Tech and take CAD night classes.

  • Megan is a Yukon High School senior who was elected as a state officer for Business Professionals of America, one of several organizations students can become active in at Canadian Valley.

  • Bradley Thorne, AmPo graduate, completed the Computer Information Systems program in December of 2008.

  • Amber Mosley, a Business Office Technology student from Chickasha, came home a national champion in Prepared Speech from the Business Professionals of America confer

  • Joe Johnson, a Chickasha high school graduate, came to CV Tech with the sole purpose of working as an auto mechanic when he graduated.

  • Rebecca Garland of Chickasha came to CV Tech knowing she needed to find a new career path.

  • Thomas Tower performed on-the-job training at Sooner Paint and Body of Chickasha, owned by CV Tech welding alum Ken Singleton, while enrolled in CV Tech’s Auto Collision

  • Lawrence Barton worked at Arvin Meritor for 15 years before taking voluntary layoff when word came that the plant would eventually be closing its doors.

  • Kandice Haney, Verden, and Robert Estes, Rush Springs, came to CV Tech in the CADD program as recipients of the Next Step Scholarship.
