NEW CLASS! Do you want to know how to maintain your car and save money? Do you need a second opinion or someone to answer your car questions? If you want to learn how to maintain and service your car, this class is for you.
Starting from ground zero, you will learn safe use of tools; proper maintenance intervals for fluids/hoses/belts/filters; how to select/change/install a battery, safely jack or jump-start your car, change a flat and/or replace/rotate a tire, replace head/tail lights; and, gap/replace plugs. Additional topics include but are not limited to - how to prepare for winter (or summer), how to lookup detailed service information for your car, check vehicle recalls, and, use a scanner to read engine service codes (most post 1996 vehicles). No prerequisites, safety glasses required, book optional (after first class).
