A Surgical Technician assist surgeons by caring for patients during operating procedures, making sure all surgical equipment functions properly and ensuring that all operative procedures are conducted under safe, sterile conditions. Through classroom, lab, and clinical exercise, you learn to anticipate and immediately respond to the needs of patients, nurses, and surgeons. This program is offered to high school graduates only and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP).
